Coastal Electric Service was founded in 1985 by Robert and Melanie Normand, after they relocated from Miami to the Florida Keys.
In Miami, Robert worked over 8 years with one of the largest and most diversified Electrical Contractors in Southern Florida. Robert received his education through the IBEW and completed extensive post-graduate studies in various specialty fields. Melanie’s background in office management and accounting served the company well from its inception. Together, Robert and Melanie’s dedication and work ethic has served as the foundation for the company’s policy of integrity and customer service. While upholding a strict adherence to building codes and specifications, we pride ourselves on team cooperation, striving to complete all our projects with an ideal balance between efficiency and quality.
